Many times, we seek answers everywhere except where we can truly find it. Sometimes, it is the devil’s deception to take our eyes away from the One who holds the truth to things that will eventually lead us astray. Our opening verse shows us that it is God who has the ability to reveal the path of life. The Bible in Proverbs 16:25 states, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” This means that many things may appear right, but in the end, they lead to destruction. If we judge things at face value, we are at risk of being deceived. However, if we remain in the presence of God to seek his way, we will experience the fullness of joy and pleasure that He brings. The Bible teaches us that it is only on Christ can we stand firmly (Luke 6:48). Pray this prayer: Dear Jesus, help me to seek and follow your way all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name.
