I want to share a secret. Have you ever prayed or worshipped and it felt like God was very far? One of the reasons this happens is that it’s possible to carry out your devotion, but not with the totality of your being. The Bible says in Matthew 15:8, “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me”. It is important to learn how to engage your heart.It is first a mindset before an action that, when I come to God, I don’t allow anything to distract me. When you pray and worship, release the totality of yourself to God and watch how everything changes. This also applies to career and business. You can open your heart to work, and a flood of wisdom will flow in. Say after me: Today, I engage my heart in all I do in Jesus’ name.
