Our opening verse has serious implications for every believer in Jesus. It implies that when you receive the life that he graciously gives, you no longer own yourself. You now belong to Jesus. You live unto him who died for you and rose again. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:20, “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”. This means you can’t have your plans and ambitions. You must do the will of God! You belong to the Lord Jesus. His blood bought you. So you must ask yourself: WHAT AM I DOING FOR JESUS? We have a responsibility to see that the message of Jesus spreads. I tell you when you see Jesus, you’ll wish you did more for Him. Don’t wait to have eternal regret, take a stand for Jesus now!
