Since the year began, we’ve been re-emphasizing the basic laws of progress: Vision, discipline, focus, etc. These laws cannot change. These laws affect every areas of your life, beginning with your walk with God. Today, let’s emphasize the law of Sacrifice. Sacrifice says even after you have done your best, you can still do more! If you don’t stretch yourself, there are certain levels of progress you may never see. Sometimes if it must pay you, it must pain you! Listen to Jesus speak in our opening verse: “How am I straitened or stretched till it be accomplished”. If Jesus had to be stretched, how much more us? Spend that extra time reading. Spend that extra time praying! In your office, push a little more to hit your targets. Say after me: I am strengthened to make sacrifices in the name of Jesus, amen.
