One important exercise every serious Christian must carry out regularly is to “review their consecration”. In other words, from time to time, you need to check your heart if it’s still steadfast in love towards God. You need to check if you are still in love with Jesus or you’re just serving him for the material things he can give you. Jesus asked Peter: do you love me more than these things? I believe Jesus is still asking some people today: do you love me more than this new job? Jesus is asking; do you love me more than your new car? What is contending with Jesus in your heart? Find it today and dethrone it in your heart. Say after me: Lord Jesus help me keep my heart fixed on you. Amen!
