Our opening verse is an important scripture to consider, especially when you are in a season of change or expecting one.
God reveals that before you can properly enter a new season, you must first undergo a transformation. This principle is illustrated in Jesus teaching about new wineskins. To repent and be converted means that there are certain things you must stop doing and others you must begin in order to be ready for the time of refreshing that comes from God. You must become a different person, and it’s not too late to start! The Bible says in Hebrews 3:15 that if you hear His voice, you should not harden your heart. As God gives you instructions during this season, do not harden your heart. Obey, and you will see your transformation. Let us pray: Dear Lord, help me to respond quickly to You in this season of transition, in Jesus’ name, amen.
