With sheer perseverance and determination, someone can achieve what we call success or greatness. However, it takes much more than that to sustain greatness. You need a seasoned character. The ability to acknowledge that you’re wrong, and change is golden. Some people are always defending themselves in the face of correction. This was a major difference between King Saul and King David. See (1 Samuel 15:17-28). When the prophet showed Saul he was wrong, he didn’t ask for mercy. Instead, he asked Samuel to praise him before the people. David was different. David quickly accepted his wrong and repented. Declare: I will accept correction quickly in Jesus’ name, amen!
