Many times, the reason we are unable to accomplish the great things we have been inspired to do is because we forget them easily. In one moment, we receive a great idea or instruction, and the next moment, we forget it. This will have to change if we are to see any change in our lives. In our opening scripture, Habakkuk records where God told him to write the vision and make it plain.

Why? So that it can be seen clearly and acted upon: “that he may run that readeth it.” The apostle, James wrote in James 1 verse 25 that a person who is a forgetful hearer cannot do the work. And if you do not do the work associated with the vision, you cannot receive the blessings of the vision. This may seem like a tough truth to handle, but the sooner we accept it, the sooner we can begin to act. Pray this prayer: Lord, I receive grace to run with the ideas and instructions you have given me, in Jesus’ name, amen!
