Yesterday, we emphasized the growth of the word of God. However, there’s yet another factor required for the word to grow. It is the state of our hearts. In Matthew 13:1 – 23, Jesus gave a parable about how the word of God produces results. Jesus classified the people into different groups: Wayside hearts, Stony hearts, a heart of thorns and the good ground. The way side are those who don’t understand the word, so the devil steals it. The stony hearts have no depth, so they don’t last long. The heart of thorns are distracted by challenges or worldly pleasures. For the Word to grow, your heart must be a good ground. Say after me: Heavenly Father help me make my heart suitable for the word in Jesus name, amen.
