Have you ever used a device and suddenly discovered some new features you weren’t aware of? You literally stumbled upon those features through usage. I call it knowledge by intimacy. In the same way, there’s a kind of knowledge of God that we can only have by spending time with Him. In our opening verse, the people saw that Peter and John were unlearned men, but they also saw that they had been with Jesus. This means that if we stay with Jesus long enough, it becomes recognizable. We can look at a person and know where they have been or who they have been with. Have you been with Jesus lately? How much of Christ have you known intimately? When you stay with Him, His voice and His will become clearer! Say after me: “Lord, help me stay with You!”
