Do you know that believers in Jesus Christ are called “Soldiers of Christ”? Many church attendees have forgotten that we are soldiers. This doesn’t mean we fight physically because the Bible also says in 2 Corinthians 10:4, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.” We are soldiers who fight for Christ, but not in a physical sense. If we are soldiers, then it means that it takes some sort of warfare to spread the work and message of Christ. In this warfare, there are good soldiers and there are bad soldiers. The Scripture shows us that to be a good soldier of Jesus Christ, you must endure hardship and make sacrifices. It takes endurance to pray and study, to fast and evangelize. Many believers make excuses at the slightest inconvenience, but this should not be so. Repeat after me: “I will endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”
