Our opening scripture is from a chapter where God called upon willing Israelites to contribute resources and skills to build the Ark of the Covenant. God even empowered certain individuals with specific skills to teach others and accomplish the work. God communicated the plan to Moses, who then conveyed it to the Israelites. This chapter teaches us that God needs us just as much as we need Him. If we are to see God’s plan fulfilled on Earth, we must be willing to partner with Him, ready to make our skills and resources available. It also demonstrates that it’s possible to learn the skills required by God’s plan. If you recognize what God wants to accomplish but lack the skills or natural disposition, you can learn! You can be trained to be more effective in fulfilling God’s plan. God only needs your willingness and availability. Repeat after me: I will ensure that I am relevant to God. Amen!
