Our opening verse was culled from the story of Abraham and his servant who was sent to pick a wife for Isaac, Abraham’s son. He was not sure how to go about it at first, but at least he moved. The servant testified that as he moved and was in the way, God helped him. Planning and strategy is good, but planning is for the sake of action. There is a subtle deception to think that planning alone is all we need for progress. Action is what makes planning meaningful. Sometimes you need to start to know how to refine and adjust your plans. But if you are waiting to perfect every single detail, you may be sabotaging yourself. Move fast and get the work done. Say after me: this week, l a man and a woman of action.
