Welcome to May 2024! Four months have gone already. This tells us something: It is no longer a new year. It’s time to fight for a change. I’ve come to discover that things will not just change. For every change you will see, you must take a step. A time comes in your life when you need to contend for change. A point where you are fed up with the current trajectory of your life. Our opening verse shows us an interesting instruction to the people of Israel.
God told them: I have given you the land but you begin to possess it and contend in battle for it. So even though God has given you the land, you must contend to possess it. You contend by diligence, discipline, prayers, and action. Some things must start today if we would see change. Some other things may need to stop. I pray for you: that your month is blessed and fruitful in the name of Jesus.
