There’s a very interesting story about prophet Elijah. At some point in his life, he was threatened by queen Jezebel. She threatened to cut off his head and the prophet ran away in fear, eventually became discouraged, and slept under a tree. While he slept, God sent an angel with a supernatural meal for him to eat.
The Angel said to Eljah, “Arise and eat because the journey is too great for thee”. Can I tell you something? God is still saying to some people today, “Arise and eat because the journey is too great for thee!” 2024 has just started, but they are already weary and discouraged about how this year will turn out. The solution is to take the word of God and eat it. Instead of complaining, start eating. Start eating the word of God and build strength. Say after me: From today, I eat the word of God and build strength in Jesus’ name, amen!
