One major obstacle each of us must surmount is learning “how to keep on going.” We all understand the power of consistency.
People have devised various ways to make consistency easier.
But can I tell you something? Consistency is never easy. We must reach a point where we resolve not to stop halfway. It’s tempting to relax once we’ve made some progress, but a single success does not equate to greatness. It is repeated strides of success that lead to greatness, and sustained greatness that begets a legacy. Here’s a word from the Lord for you: “You may have done well, but don’t drop the ball. Don’t stop running until you reach the finish line. Don’t get satisfied too early.” Look at Jesus in our opening verse – “I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!” Don’t drop the ball.
Stretch and fulfill your destiny in Jesus’ name. Amen.
