Have you ever wondered what the devil really wants when he tempts a man? He does it to put a person in a state where it will be difficult to receive all that God has planned for him or her. It is because he knows that God is bound by his laws, his principles, and his righteousness. So, he does everything to ensure that man violates the principles of God. The purpose of temptations is to set men at variance with God. For instance, hell was never created for men. Hell is for Satan and his cohorts who sinned against the Lord. But, what would God do when a man decides to reject all that God has offered for his rescue and salvation? Such a person will go to the same place where those who reject Jesus go! When satan brings options and temptations, discern what he’s trying to do and give him no place. Say after me: I give no place to the devil!
