Someone once said, and I wholeheartedly agree, that our lives are like fields. If we want to see anything in our field, we must plant it. If you don’t plant anything, something will still grow. However, it may not be something you want. This means we cannot leave our lives to chance. Our opening verse shows us that whatsoever a man sows, he will reap that also. So we must see ourselves as farmers who cultivate the fields of our lives. Wherever it seems like your life is behind, start cultivating it and sowing seeds into yourself. Some of us may need to start reading new books, others need to pray more, and some to study more. But let no day come and leave you the same. Cultivate! Say after me: Heavenly Father I receive the wisdom and discipline to cultivate the field of my life in Jesus’ name, amen!
