Yesterday, we discussed how we should be examples of the believer. Now, you might be wondering, “How can I truly be an example of a believer?” We highlighted that the Scriptures define who a believer is. Jesus is the picture of the believer. In 1 Timothy
4:15, Apostle Paul instructs, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” This echoes 2 Corinthians 3:18, which states that as we behold the glory of the Lord, we are transformed into that same image. We must have consistent and intentional moments in our lives where we meditate on God’s Word-whether read from the Bible or heard at church. This is the way to truly receive and be impacted by the spirit of the Word. If you give yourself wholly to what you hear and read, you will see your life transform unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Glory!
